DESCRIPTION

The Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience programme at New York College offers the opportunity to explore a contemporary approach to the study of the relationship between Brain and Mind. You will gain a sound understanding of mental and psychological processes and develop advanced knowledge of the neural, hormonal, and molecular structures and networks that underpin the mind. We offer our students a range of opportunities to develop specific skills that are relevant to careers in a neuroscience environment. You will have opportunities to develop specific neuroscience-relevant skills, in areas such as EEG data collection and processing, and neuropsychological assessment. Our highly-qualified team, with considerable clinical and research experience on the field, will introduce you to complex ideas and research skills whilst supporting and encouraging you. Throughout your degree you will develop your knowledge and skills for conducting psychological research, and the ethical issues involved, with the support of our fully equipped Psychology Research Laboratory and full-time Psychology Technician.

  • The only Bachelor degree on the Greek market that includes a focus on Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.
  • Our fully equipped Psychological Research Laboratory and full time Psychology Technician support New York College students and faculty members with their research projects. Students have the possibility to work on publishing their final year dissertation research projects jointly with the supervising member of faculty.
